Sadly, I have some upsetting news to share... We were forced to say goodbye to Mum and Dad's beautiful boy, Boags, last Saturday afternoon.
He was a beautiful, happy and much loved member of our family, and he will be desperately missed.
Boags always loved company. Any attention was good attention! Boags especially loved my Dad. I remember just after our first daughter, Ella was born and when Dad would nurse her, Boags would get jealous and try to get Dad's attention away from that bloody baby! Over the years and as the girls grew, he also grew to adore them! He was so patient as they put the leash on him and dragged him around the garden as he became a participant in their imaginery games!
I always joked that Boags had A.D.D! He gave the best dally grin and we never stopped seeing his tail wagging. He was very social; "playing" with all sorts of other animals - birds were a speciality, as were possums and baby bush turkeys. Boags really loved playing with them...literally to death!
